Tuxedo Park Brewing Company

Here are some of the favorite Tuxedo Park Brews
Eventually I'll get around to posting recopies (not included yet) but until then here are the logos, which are one of the most satisfying aspects of the endeavor. The beers were typically developed for a specific theme at a party in case you're wondering.
The first and some say the best.
The Tuxedo Park Brewing Company has been creating handmade malted barley beverages
since the spring of 1990 in beautiful Webster Groves.
Opossum Pete's Porter
Devil Dog Amber Ale
Slithy Tove Porter

In celebration of the Hell Hounds of the Volleyball court, I crafted this ale, which remains the perennial favorite.
For a Halloween party with an Alice in Wonderland theme:
"Well, 'slithy' means 'lithe and slimy.' "Lithe is the same as active.' You see it's like a portmanteau-there are two meanings packed into one word."
"I see it now," Alice remarked thoughtfully: "and what are toves'?".. .... ..
"Well, 'toves' are something like badgers---they're something like lizards---and they're something like corkscrews."
"They must be curious-looking creatures."
"They are that," said Humpty Dumpty: "also they make their nests under sundials--also they live on cheese."

For those of you in the mood for a bitter, try:
Some of Ms. Parker's more famous lines include:
The sun's gone dim, and the moon's turned black. For I loved him and he didn't love back.
When as part of a word game, she was asked to use horticulture in a sentence, Dorothy replied: "You can lead a whore to culture but you can't make her think."
Writing is a miserable, miserable, delight.
Lips that taste of tears, they say, are the best for kissing
By the time you swear you're his, Shivering and sighing, And he vows his passion is Infinite, undying-Lady, make a note of this: One of you is lying
Razors pain you; Rivers are damp; Acids stain you; And drugs cause cramp. Guns aren't lawful; And nooses give; Gas smells awful; You might as well live.
Epitaph: Excuse my dust
For a Halloween party with an Shakespeare as the theme:
Having the day off on Veteran's Day 1999, the brewer's at Tuxedo Park decided to create an ale in celebration of those who fought and died in the "war to end all wars", which ended on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918.
For Bethany and mine nuptials on the 2001 autumnal equinox (September 22nd) we developed:
22 September also happens to be Bilbo and Frodo Baggins' Birthday, though this was only a coincident. Or was it? "Hobbits give presents to other people on their own birthdays." (as does Randy.) On a day when many presents were received, the nicest ones we got were the ones we gave each other: Ourselves. (Now isn't that the sappiest thing you ever read?)
